Being fed up of the tractor always being mechanically unsound I decided to buy five registered pedigree ewe lambs from the Harton flock in September 2015 to assist with paddock maintenance. Harton keep many types of livestock with Shetland origins including ponies so thought they would be an ideal breed to run with my ponies.
Now I wouldn't be without them and they have done a great job but have become addictive with great characters.
Lambs due in May and offered for sale at weaning.
Our Ram
We have been fortunate in purchasing Astcote Gerald a 2yo Flecket ram.
He has fathered many sets of twins.
Shown successfully by previous owners and placed 2nd at the Royal Norfolk Show and 4th at Ashbourne.
